Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and fabrication drawings for
wooden doors, frames, veneer panels, wall cladding, cabinetry, furniture, and interior
fit-out works.
Develop CAD drawings based on architectural drawings, design concepts, and client
requirements.
Coordinate with architects, interior designers, project managers, production, and site
teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and
applicable building codes.
Revise drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and site conditions.
Support the production team by providing manufacturing details and technical
clarifications.
Coordinate veneer grain matching, panel layouts, edge details, and finishing
requirements.
Verify dimensions and conduct site measurements when required.
Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions, and version control.
Assist in product development and value engineering to improve manufacturing
efficiency and reduce material wastage.
Mentor junior draftsmen and review their drawings for accuracy and quality.
Ensure timely completion of drawings to meet project schedules.
Required Qualifications
2-8 years of experience in door manufacturing, veneer works, woodworking, joinery,
or interior fit-out drafting.
Strong knowledge of wooden door construction, veneer applications, joinery details,
hardware installation, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Experience with SketchUp, SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit, or similar 3D software is an
advantage.
Good understanding of production methods, CNC requirements, and woodworking
machinery.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior drawings.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
