Job Summary
The Assistant Professor in Mathematics is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, guiding students academically, and contributing to departmental development through research, curriculum design, and academic activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate in Mathematics
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, and study materials
- Conduct tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions where applicable
- Mentor and guide students for academic and career development
- Maintain academic records and documentation as per college and university norms
- Participate in curriculum development and syllabus revision
- Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, conferences, and guest lectures
- Contribute to institutional development activities such as admissions, accreditation (NAAC), and committees
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Mathematics
- Qualification in UGC NET / SET / Ph.D. in Mathematics as per University Grants Commission norms
- Ph.D. is preferred for career advancement and senior roles
Experience
- 0–3 years of teaching experience (Freshers with NET/SET qualified may apply)
- Prior teaching or research experience in a college/university is an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
