What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Conduct regular incoming in process and final inspections and generate reports and evaluate the results and approve or reject the parts.
- Identification of non-conformance parts and take corrective and preventive actions.
- Communicate the defect nature to the production team on daily basis and generate NC report
- Keep follow-up of NC reports till closure and avoid re-occurrence.
- Document all incoming in-process and Final inspection reports and respected test reports and COC and maintenance records as per AS9100 requirements.
- Responsible for AS9100 documentations management and traceability.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to implement process improvements and resolve technical challenges as they arise.
- Respond quickly to issues and efficiently solve problems as needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Have a solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Possess basic computer skills of SAP entries.
- A cademic background in BE - Mechanical
- Previous experience in or with 3–5 years working at final and in process inspection within the manufacturing industry.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Good knowledge in manufacturing process (Casting, Extrusions, surface treatment, sheet metal, machining, riveting, and assembly ).
Ability to read engineering drawings, routing charts, BOMs, and CAD models.
- Knowledge on AS9100 requirements were more preferrable.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, 7QC tools, PFMEA, and knowledge on VMM.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to coordinate across teams and lead operators technically.
