We are looking for a skilled IT Support & Hardware Engineer to manage hardware servicing, laptop troubleshooting, networking support, and IT infrastructure maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing hardware issues, configuring networks, and providing technical support to end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Configure and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- Provide technical support to employees and users.
- Install and maintain antivirus, security patches, and software updates.
- Manage hardware inventory and IT assets.
- Perform data backup and recovery activities when required.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and warranty support.
- Document IT support activities and maintain service records.
Required Skills
- Hardware troubleshooting and servicing.
- Laptop and desktop repair and maintenance.
- Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi-Fi).
- Router, switch, and firewall configuration.
- Windows operating systems and basic server administration.
- Remote desktop support tools.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, N+, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
