Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head – People & Culture to lead our HR function and build a high-performing, people-first organization. This role will be responsible for driving the overall people strategy, strengthening organizational culture, and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership experience in the IT Services or BPO industry, with the ability to balance strategic planning and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's People & Culture strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead all HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Operations.
- Partner with business leaders to develop workforce planning and talent strategies.
- Build and foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance organizational culture.
- Establish scalable HR policies, processes, and frameworks to support business growth.
- Drive leadership hiring, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Design and implement employee engagement, recognition, and retention programs.
- Lead performance management and career development frameworks across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling effectively.
- Develop HR dashboards, reports, and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
- Promote continuous learning, innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
Key Requirements
- 10–15 years of progressive HR experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years in an HR leadership or Head of HR role.
- Experience in the IT Services or BPO industry is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in Talent Management, Organizational Development, Employee Engagement, and HR Operations.
- Proven experience managing large and diverse teams.
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- HR certifications such as SHRM, HRCI, or similar will be an added advantage.
- Experience leading HR transformation and organizational development initiatives.
- Exposure to HRMS, HR analytics, and digital HR tools.
