Job Summary
The Student Engagement Officer is responsible for creating a vibrant, inclusive, and engaging campus environment by planning and executing student-centric initiatives that enhance the overall student experience. The role serves as the primary point of coordination between students, faculty, departments, and management to ensure effective communication, timely resolution of student concerns, and successful execution of academic, co-curricular, extracurricular, cultural, and institutional events.
The Student Engagement Officer plays a key role in improving student participation, satisfaction, leadership development, and overall campus life while fostering a positive institutional culture.
Key Responsibilities1. Student Engagement & Campus Life
- Develop and implement a comprehensive student engagement calendar aligned with the institution's academic calendar.
- Create initiatives that encourage student participation in academic, cultural, sports, technical, social, and community activities.
- Foster an inclusive and student-friendly campus environment.
- Promote leadership, teamwork, creativity, and innovation among students.
- Conduct student interaction sessions to understand expectations and improve engagement.
- Build a strong student community through clubs, associations, and student committees.
2. Student Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between students, faculty, departments, and management.
- Ensure smooth communication of institutional announcements, policies, and event information.
- Coordinate with Class Representatives (CRs), Student Council members, and student clubs.
- Organize regular meetings with student representatives to understand concerns and suggestions.
- Encourage student participation in institutional committees and initiatives.
3. Student Grievance & Support
- Receive, document, and address student concerns and grievances in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the concerned departments for effective resolution of student issues.
- Follow up until issues are resolved and communicate updates to students.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive student matters.
- Prepare grievance reports and recommend corrective actions to management.

Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute institutional events, including:

Coordinate and monitor student clubs such as:

Support clubs in:
- Planning annual activities

6. Student Development
- Coordinate personality development programmes.
- Organize leadership development workshops.
- Conduct communication and interpersonal skill activities.
- Promote teamwork and collaborative learning.
- Coordinate life skills and career readiness sessions.
- Encourage participation in hackathons, competitions, and innovation challenges.
7. Communication & Student Relations
- Maintain continuous engagement with students through meetings, surveys, and feedback sessions.
- Coordinate communication through email, WhatsApp groups, ERP, and notice boards.
- Prepare newsletters highlighting student achievements and campus activities.
- Promote institutional initiatives among students.
8. Academic Support Coordination
- Coordinate with Academic Departments regarding student participation.
- Support Orientation and Induction activities.
- Assist in Graduation and Convocation planning.
- Coordinate academic celebrations and departmental events.
- Encourage participation in seminars and workshops.
9. Cross Functional Coordination
Coordinate with:

Ensure smooth execution of all student-related activities.
10. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain annual student engagement calendar.
- Prepare monthly activity reports.
- Maintain event reports with photographs.
- Track student participation.
- Maintain grievance register.
- Prepare event budgets and expenditure reports.
- Submit weekly and monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain student engagement dashboards.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
