Job Summary
We are looking for a confident and responsible Purchase Engineer with good knowledge of EV components and strong vendor management skills. The candidate should be comfortable working independently, managing vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely availability of required materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and purchase EV components, electrical parts, tools, and engineering materials.
- Identify and coordinate with new and existing vendors.
- Visit vendors and markets for material sourcing and purchase activities.
- Negotiate prices, quality, payment terms, and delivery timelines.
- Compare quotations and select suitable suppliers.
- Prepare Purchase Orders and maintain purchase records.
- Check material availability, quality, and specifications.
- Resolve vendor-related issues and ensure smooth procurement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automobile, or related engineering field.
- 1–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in the EV, automotive, electrical, or engineering industry.
- Good knowledge of EV components such as batteries, BMS, motors, controllers, chargers, DC-DC converters, wiring harnesses, connectors, etc.
- Must be confident, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Must be comfortable handling responsibilities individually with minimum supervision.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
