Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draughtsman / HVAC Draughtsman to join our team in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing electrical or HVAC drawings using AutoCAD and be capable of coordinating with engineers to develop accurate design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify Electrical/HVAC drawings, layouts, schematics, and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with project engineers and design teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Review technical specifications and incorporate revisions into drawings.
- Maintain drawing records and project documentation.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and preparation of project-related reports using MS Excel.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company drafting practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Understanding of Electrical systems and/or HVAC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience as an Electrical Draughtsman or HVAC Draughtsman.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in MEP projects.
- Familiarity with commercial, residential, or industrial building projects.
- Knowledge of HVAC ducting layouts, electrical layouts, SLDs, and schematic drawings will be an advantage.
