Role Overview
As an Associate Project Manager (Amazon Marketing), you will act as a bridge between
clients, strategy teams, operations, creatives, and data teams to ensure smooth execution of
Amazon marketing projects. You will help plan, monitor, and deliver deliverables on time,
manage stakeholder communications, and ensure quality and efficiency across campaigns
and accounts.
You will report into a Project Manager / Account Lead and help scale Growisto’s project
execution capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution
– Work with Strategy and Account teams to break down project scope into tasks,
timelines, and resource allocation.
– Maintain project plans, track milestones, dependencies, and risks.
– Monitor progress of various workstreams (PPC, listing optimization, content,
operations, analytics) and flag deviations early.
– Facilitate cross-team coordination (creative, content, ad ops, analytics, operations)
to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication
– Be a point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders for project status updates,
clarifications, and issue resolution.
– Prepare and present regular project status reports, dashboards, meeting minutes,
and action items.
– Manage expectations, escalate issues, and negotiate scope changes where
necessary.
- Quality Assurance & Delivery Oversight
– Review deliverables (listing copy, ad campaigns, content briefs, analytics reports)

– Ensure campaigns go live without issues and monitor initial performance for errors
or bottlenecks.
– Conduct post-mortem / retrospective reviews for each project to capture learnings
and drive process improvements.
– Identify project risks (delays, resource constraints, external dependencies) and
proactively propose mitigation plans.
– Track and resolve issues, maintain an issues log, and follow up for resolution.
- Resource & Capacity Management
– Maintain a view of team capacity across projects, help with resource allocation,
reassignments, and prioritization.
– Assist in onboarding or handover of new accounts/projects to operations teams.
– Suggest and help implement process enhancements (templates, tools, workflows)
to increase efficiency, repeatability, and scalability.
– Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and best practices for
Amazon marketing delivery.
- Support Strategy & Pre-Sales (Optional / as needed)
– Assist strategy or sales teams in scoping new client proposals, estimating timelines,
and resource needs.
– Help in onboarding new clients (kickoff meetings, alignment workshops,
requirement gathering).
Skills & Requirements
Must-Haves:
- 1–3 years of experience in project management/operations / account management
in digital marketing, e-commerce, or agency setting (experience with Amazon
marketing or marketplace projects is a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple
parallel projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (creative, analytics, operations) and
drive for results.
- Basic familiarity with project management tools (Asana, Trello, JIRA, MS Project, etc.)
and ability to create and manage project plans, Gantt charts, timelines.
- Analytical mindset: ability to interpret basic metrics, spot anomalies, and ask the right
questions.
- Problem-solving attitude, proactiveness, ability to manage ambiguity and escalating
issues.
Good-to-Haves:
- Strong understanding of Amazon marketplace, seller/vendor models, Amazon
advertising (PPC, DSP), listing optimization, catalog/content, etc.
- Understanding of data dashboards, reporting tools, Excel / Google Sheets advanced
usage.
- Exposure to or understanding of AI, automation, or proprietary tools used in
marketplace analytics.
- Stakeholder management experience (clients, senior leadership).
Certification in project management (PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile) or Amazon advertising
certifications.
- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
