Job Description – Part-Time Degree Faculty (B.Com & BBA) Position: Part-Time Degree Faculty – Commerce & Management Qualification: - M.Com or MBA (Preferred) - Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate level is desirable. Job Responsibilities: - Teach theory and practical subjects for B.Com and BBA programmes as assigned. - Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, presentations, and class notes. - Conduct lectures, practical sessions, tutorials, and student mentoring. - Prepare question papers, assignments, internal assessments, and evaluate answer scripts. - Maintain student attendance, academic records, and assessment reports. - Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus as per the academic calendar. - Use effective teaching methods and technology to enhance student learning. - Guide students in projects, presentations, and practical activities. - Participate in departmental meetings, examinations, faculty development programmes, seminars, and college events. - Follow university regulations, institutional policies, and maintain professional ethics. - Perform any other academic or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Principal or Head of the Department. Skills Required: - Strong subject knowledge in Commerce and Management. - Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills. - Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Office and digital teaching tools. - Commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and continuous learning.
