Job Title: Digital Content Manager
Location: west delhi
Reporting to: Head of Marketing / Communications / Principal .
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive Digital Content Manager to develop, execute, and optimize our digital content strategy across web, social, email, and other digital channels. The role blends content creation, editorial planning, SEO, analytics, and cross‑functional coordination to grow brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy aligned with business/educational goals.
Plan editorial calendars for website, blog, social media, email newsletters, and paid content; ensure consistent tone and brand messaging.
Create, edit, and publish high‑quality content: articles, landing pages, videos scripts, social posts, infographics, case studies, and newsletters.
Optimize content for SEO: keyword research, on‑page optimization, meta tags, internal linking, content gap analysis, and content refreshes.
Manage and grow social media presence: platform-specific content, community engagement, scheduling, and performance tracking.
Coordinate with design, video, product, admissions (for educational settings), and sales/recruitment teams to produce integrated campaigns.
Oversee content distribution and repurposing to maximize reach and ROI.
Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, social insights) to measure performance and derive actionable insights.
Maintain content governance: brand guidelines, editorial standards, content calendar, and version control.
Manage external vendors and freelancers (writers, designers, videographers) when required.
Stay updated on digital trends, platform changes, and best practices; recommend new channels and tools.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field.
3–6 years of experience in digital content creation/management, content marketing, or similar role.
Strong writing and editing skills with an excellent command of English; ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Practical knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or similar) and content publishing workflows.
Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, SendGrid, or similar).
Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and basic data interpretation.
Experience coordinating with designers and video teams; basic understanding of multimedia production.
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
Preferred (nice-to-have)
Experience in the education sector or recruiting/talent‑acquisition communications.
Basic HTML/CSS and familiarity with website performance concepts.
Experience with paid social/SEM content strategy and CRO.
Knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz) and CMS plugins for SEO.
KPIs / Success Metrics
Organic traffic growth (sessions, users) and keyword rankings improvement.
Engagement metrics: time on page, bounce rate, social engagement (likes, shares, comments).
Lead or conversion metrics for campaigns (inquiries, signups, applications).
Content production throughput: published pieces, adherence to editorial calendar.
Email open and click-through rates.
Content ROI and campaign performance vs. targets.
