Qualification
- MBA / MSW / MHRM / PGDM in Human Resources or Personnel Management
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- Certification in HRMS, HR Analytics, AI Tools, or Business Intelligence will be an added advantage.
Experience
5–8 years of progressive experience in Corporate HR, preferably in a manufacturing organization, with hands-on exposure to HRMS implementation, HR operations, HR analytics, policy formulation, statutory compliance, and digital HR transformation initiatives.
Position Summary
The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Corporate HR will be responsible for strengthening corporate HR systems, policies, and governance while supporting the organization's digital transformation initiatives. The incumbent will drive HRMS implementation, develop HR policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), leverage AI and Business Intelligence (BI) tools for workforce analytics, and ensure statutory compliance and operational excellence across the organization.
This role requires a proactive HR professional with strong analytical capabilities, technology orientation, and the ability to partner with business leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Digital Transformation
- Lead and support the implementation, enhancement, and administration of the HRMS platform.
- Coordinate employee data migration, system configuration, testing, and user acceptance.
- Drive automation of HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, payroll integration, performance management, and employee self-service.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and system effectiveness across all business locations.
- Coordinate with HRMS vendors and IT teams for system upgrades and continuous improvement.
2. HR Policies, SOPs & Governance
- Draft, review, and implement HR policies, employee handbook, and HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Standardize HR processes across corporate and plant locations.
- Ensure alignment with labour legislation, corporate governance requirements, and organizational objectives.
- Maintain policy documentation and ensure effective communication across the organization.
- Support policy interpretation and implementation by business leaders.
3. HR Analytics, AI & Business Intelligence
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and management reports using Business Intelligence tools.
- Utilize AI-enabled solutions to improve recruitment, employee engagement, learning, performance management, and HR service delivery.
- Analyze workforce trends, attrition, absenteeism, productivity, manpower costs, and other HR metrics.
- Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Support predictive analytics for workforce planning and talent management.
4. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Coordinate recruitment activities for corporate and plant positions.
- Support manpower planning and headcount budgeting.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Maintain recruitment databases and hiring analytics.
- Improve recruitment turnaround time and candidate experience.
5. Performance Management & Organizational Development
- Coordinate implementation of KPI/KRA and Performance Management Systems (PMS).
- Monitor appraisal cycles and performance review processes.
- Maintain competency frameworks, skill matrices, and succession planning data.
- Support talent development, leadership development, and employee capability-building initiatives.
6. Employee Relations & HR Operations
- Support employee grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and employee counselling.
- Coordinate employee engagement, wellness, welfare, and recognition programs.
- Administer employee benefits including Group Medical Insurance, PF, ESI, leave management, and statutory records.
- Maintain employee records with complete confidentiality and accuracy.
7. Statutory Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal audits, statutory audits, and compliance reviews.
- Maintain HR documentation required for inspections, certifications, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor corrective actions arising from audits.
8. Management Information System (MIS)
Prepare and present periodic reports on:
- Headcount & Manpower Analysis
- Recruitment Dashboard
- Attrition & Retention Analysis
- Attendance & Leave Trends
- HRMS Utilization
- Performance Management Status
- Training & Development Metrics
- Statutory Compliance Tracker
