Job Description – Hydra Crane Operator
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Hydra Crane safely and efficiently for lifting, loading, unloading, shifting, and positioning heavy materials, machinery, equipment, and structures.
- Perform pre-operational inspections of the crane and ensure all safety systems are functioning properly.
- Execute lifting activities in accordance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures.
- Assess load weights, lifting capacities, and operating conditions before commencing operations.
- Coordinate with supervisors, riggers, maintenance personnel, and site teams to ensure safe execution of lifting activities.
- Ensure proper rigging, load balancing, and secure placement of materials during transportation and lifting.
- Conduct routine checks of hydraulic systems, wire ropes, hooks, outriggers, tires, brakes, and other critical crane components.
- Identify and report mechanical issues, equipment defects, or unsafe conditions promptly.
- Maintain daily operation logs, equipment inspection records, and fuel consumption reports.
- Support maintenance shutdowns, project activities, equipment installation, and material handling operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, operational guidelines, and site-specific requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the crane and surrounding work area.
- Assist in emergency lifting requirements and operational support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Valid Hydra Crane Operator license/certification.
- Minimum 3–8 years of experience operating Hydra Cranes in industrial, manufacturing, mining, construction, or infrastructure environments.
- Strong understanding of lifting operations, crane load capacities, and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
- Ability to interpret hand signals and communicate effectively with rigging personnel.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in handling heavy machinery, structural components, industrial equipment, and project-related lifting activities.
- Exposure to manufacturing plants, mining operations, construction projects, heavy engineering facilities, or large industrial sites.
- Familiarity with safe lifting practices, rigging methods, and material handling procedures.
Pay: ₹8,821.74 - ₹45,925.38 per month
