Position: Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer – Civil
Location: Chennai
Department: Construction / Projects
Reporting To: Project Manager / Construction Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer – Civil with 10–12 years of experience in building construction. The candidate should have hands-on experience in villa, high-rise, residential, commercial, and multi-storey projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Review drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Supervise structural and finishing works and conduct site inspections.
- Manage manpower, materials, and equipment at site.
- Resolve technical and construction-related issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality and HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10–12 years of relevant construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of site execution, RCC, structural and finishing works.
- Experience in villas, high-rise, residential, commercial, and multi-storey projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Experience in quality control, subcontractor coordination, manpower and material planning.
- Good knowledge of HSE standards, site coordination, project planning, and reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
