Job Summary:
PBHM Medical Center is looking for a qualified and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing medication counseling to patients, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Provide patients with information regarding medication usage, dosage, side effects, and precautions.
- Maintain proper records of prescriptions and pharmacy transactions.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines and medical supplies.
- Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff regarding prescriptions and medication availability.
- Follow pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
- Support health awareness programs and patient counseling initiatives when required.
Requirements:
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm qualification.
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy billing software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinic pharmacy.
- Knowledge of inventory management and pharmacy software systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
