Job Title: Store Manager – Fresh Food & Quick Commerce

Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on and performance-driven Store Manager to lead our Fresh Food Retail Outlet, which also operates as a Quick Commerce fulfilment hub.
The role is responsible for end-to-end store operations, fresh inventory management, team leadership, and seamless order fulfilment. The Store Manager will coordinate closely with the HR Department for manpower planning and with the Last Mile Operations Division to ensure timely and accurate order dispatch.
As we plan to launch 7 stores this financial year, the candidate must be capable of executing standardized processes and supporting expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Store & Fresh Operations
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Maintain strict control on perishable inventory (FIFO, FEFO, wastage control).
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety compliance.
- Conduct regular stock audits and minimize shrinkage.
Quick Commerce Fulfilment
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, and staging of online orders.
- Monitor order turnaround time (TAT) and dispatch readiness.
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy to prevent order cancellations.
- Ensure quality checks before dispatch.
Coordination with Last Mile Operations
- Coordinate daily dispatch schedules with Last Mile Ops Division.
- Ensure orders are handed over on time for delivery.
- Escalate delivery delays or operational gaps proactively.
- Share daily performance metrics related to order fulfillment.
Team Management & HR Coordination
- Identify manpower requirements based on sales and order volume.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Prepare shift rosters aligned with peak order timings.
- Monitor team productivity and performance.
Sales & Business Performance
- Drive in-store sales and online revenue targets.
- Monitor key KPIs: sales, wastage %, shrinkage %, order accuracy, TAT.
- Control operational expenses and improve store profitability.
Expansion & SOP Implementation
- Support new store setup and operational readiness.
- Implement and standardize SOPs across outlets.
- Train new team members during expansion phase.
Required Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in retail operations (Fresh Food / Grocery / Convenience Retail).
- Minimum 2-3 years in Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager role.
- Experience handling perishable inventory.
- Exposure to quick commerce / online order fulfilment is preferred.
- Strong cross-functional coordination skills.
