Responsible for inspecting, preparing, and ensuring new vehicles are in perfect condition before delivery to customers. The PDI Technician must identify and rectify technical, electrical, cosmetic, and functional issues as per manufacturer and dealership standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of all new vehicles before customer delivery.
- Check engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, tyres, battery, lights, AC, electrical systems, and other components.
- Inspect vehicle exterior and interior for scratches, dents, paint defects, stains, or damages.
- Perform vehicle scanning/diagnostics and rectify identified errors.
- Check and maintain correct tyre pressure, battery condition, fluid levels, and fuel level.
- Verify vehicle accessories and ensure proper fitment and functioning.
- Conduct road tests where required to identify abnormal noises or performance issues.
- Ensure all PDI checklists are completed accurately and on time.
- Report defects or damages immediately to the Service Manager/PDI In-charge.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Service, Accessories, and Detailing teams for vehicle readiness.
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned and properly prepared before delivery.
- Maintain proper records of PDI inspections, repairs, and vehicle status.
- Follow OEM/manufacturer PDI standards, safety procedures, and dealership policies.
- Ensure timely completion of PDI to support smooth and on-time vehicle delivery.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
