Role Objective
The Senior Manager – Corporate Sales will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, identifying high-value opportunities, and expanding revenue streams. This role focuses on enhancing market penetration, building strategic relationships with key corporate clients, and representing the company's suite of data and risk solutions effectively. The position requires a deep understanding of enterprise sales, client needs, and solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate sector to achieve sales targets.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles from lead generation, pitch, proposal development and negotiation to closure.
- Build strong CXO-level relationships and engage decision-makers across industries.
- Understand customer challenges and recommend tailored solutions using the company’s suite of data intelligence products.
- Present product demos and sales pitches to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and post-sale support.
- Share periodic business reports, performance metrics and market insights with senior leadership.
- Ensure strict compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and manage escalations effectively.
- Maintain a strong market presence through field sales, cold calling and networking.
- Support and participate in regional marketing and brand awareness activities.
- Display a strong entrepreneurial drive, negotiation acumen, and consultative sales approach.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in B2B/Enterprise Sales, preferably in data, digital products, or information services.
- Proven track record of successful sales in corporate, banking or financial institutions (FIs).
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders (CXOs, GMs).
- Experience in field sales and cold calling is essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to function as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
