Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Upwork Bidder to lead our business development efforts on Upwork and other freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of generating high-value leads, winning projects independently, and leading a team of Upwork bidders to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
Generate qualified leads and acquire projects through Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
Handle the complete bidding lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to project closure.
Write customized, winning proposals based on client requirements.
Communicate with international clients via chat, calls, and meetings.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Negotiate pricing, project scope, timelines, and contracts.
Consistently achieve monthly lead generation and revenue targets.
Manage and mentor a team of Upwork bidders, ensuring productivity and performance.
Review team proposals and guide them on improving conversion rates.
Develop bidding strategies to increase project wins and revenue.
Coordinate with technical teams for project estimations and solution discussions.
Maintain CRM and prepare daily/weekly performance reports.
Stay updated with Upwork trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
5–7 years of experience in Upwork bidding for an IT services company.
Strong knowledge of IT technologies including Web, Mobile, AI/ML, SaaS, Cloud, and Custom Software Development.
Proven record of independently generating business and closing international projects.
Experience managing and leading a business development/bidding team.
Excellent proposal writing and client communication skills.
Strong negotiation and sales skills.
Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into winning proposals.
Experience with Upwork, Freelancer, Guru, LinkedIn, and other lead generation platforms is preferred.
Knowledge of CRM tools and reporting.
