Key Responsibilities: 1. System Integration & End-to-End Validation integration testing of the complete connected vehicle pipeline: Vehicle ?? Cloud ?? Mobile App. Validate end-to-end user journeys such as remote door lock/unlock, vehicle alerts, and vehicle health monitoring. Manage complex Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) test environments. 2. OTA (FOTA / COTA) Testing Define and execute test strategies for Firmware-Over-The-Air (FOTA) and Configuration-Over-The-Air (COTA) updates and Test system resilience during interrupted updates (e.g., power loss or network drops). 3. Mobile App & API Validation Perform functional, usability, and performance testing on Automotive Mobile Apps (iOS/Android). Validate RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger to ensure seamless communication between the app and the vehicle backend. Conduct Database Validation (SQL/NoSQL) to verify data integrity, synchronization, and telemetry logging. 4. Vehicle Protocols & Communication Monitor and simulate vehicle bus traffic using CAN and UDS protocols. Validate messaging telemetry and command execution over MQTT and HTTP/HTTPS. Utilize automotive tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe) to perform diagnostic testing and fault injection. Technical Skills : Vehicle Networking: Working knowledge of CAN, CAN-FD, UDS (ISO 14229), and Automotive Ethernet. Good to have deep understanding of IoT and Web protocols including MQTT, HTTP/S, Testing Tools: Proficiency in Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, Postman, and JIRA. App/Web Testing: Experience with Appium, Selenium, or Espresso for mobile automation. Database: Ability to write complex queries in SQL or work with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python or CAPL for automated test execution
