Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting physicians during consultations and procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining clinical documentation, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic. The role requires excellent clinical knowledge, strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new healthcare practices and technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
- Assess patients' vital signs and document clinical observations accurately.
- Administer medications, injections, vaccinations, and intravenous therapies as prescribed.
- Assist physicians during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
- Perform wound dressing, sample collection, ECG, nebulization, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Educate patients on diabetes management, medication adherence, diet, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare.
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report any abnormalities to the physician.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
Clinical Operations
- Prepare consultation rooms and maintain readiness of medical equipment.
- Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are strictly followed.
- Maintain proper sterilization and disinfection of instruments.
- Monitor and maintain emergency equipment and crash cart readiness.
- Assist in inventory management of medicines, consumables, and clinical supplies.
- Coordinate with laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments for seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation as per organizational standards.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete nursing documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow infection control practices, and patient safety protocols.
- Report clinical incidents and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Patient Experience
- Build positive relationships with patients and caregivers.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic nursing care.
- Address patient queries professionally and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Support patient education programs and health awareness initiatives.

Qualifications
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- Current BLS certification preferred.
Experience
- 1–5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in diabetes care, endocrinology, outpatient clinics, or physician practice is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong clinical knowledge and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
- Previous work experience in a diabetes/diabetic clinic or diabetes specialty center will be considered an added advantage.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
