Roles & Responsibilities
- Be the technical owner of key Frontend initiatives within the e-commerce transformation, defining architecture, phases, risks, dependencies, and end-to-end quality criteria.
- Design scalable Frontend solutions on Next.js for a headless architecture, anticipating performance, SEO, rendering, and operability trade-offs.
- Define integration patterns with enterprise commerce APIs and services (for example VTEX, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, or equivalent platforms), ensuring clear contracts, resilience, and a good developer experience.
- Raise the technical level of the team through mentoring of N1/N2 profiles and guidance in architecture, performance, and quality decisions.
- Influence cross-functional decisions with product, business, UX, data, and other technical teams, contributing judgment on impact, risk, operational cost, and sequencing.
- Lead the Frontend quality strategy: Core Web Vitals, testing, observability, tracking, and regression prevention in production.
Skills & Requirements
- Solid production experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer, leading complex developments and important technical decisions in digital products with significant traffic and business criticality.
- Proven experience with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and deployments on Vercel (or others) in real production environments.
- Deep knowledge of API integrations and headless architectures, including handling loading states, errors, caching, authentication, and data consistency in the user experience.
- Experience in e-commerce environments or transactional digital products, with sensitivity to conversion, funnel, catalog, checkout, promotions, pricing, stock, and omnichannel experience.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
