Job Summary
Social Science & EVS teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, activity-based, and student-centered lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will foster curiosity, critical thinking, environmental awareness, and social responsibility among students while ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Social Science and EVS lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual curriculum plans, monthly planners, lesson plans, and worksheets.
- Develop age-appropriate learning experiences using experiential and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Integrate real-life examples, projects, field observations, and hands-on activities into classroom learning.
- Encourage students to develop environmental awareness, civic responsibility, and social values.
- Use digital teaching aids, smart boards, multimedia presentations, and interactive learning tools effectively.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
Student Assessment
- Conduct formative and summative assessments as per CBSE guidelines.
- Design worksheets, quizzes, projects, assignments, and assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and academic progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Identify students requiring additional support and implement remedial strategies.
Classroom Management
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Maintain classroom discipline using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Encourage active participation, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Display students' work and maintain attractive learning corners.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
