Job Description for Senior Executive-GIS
Desirables:
· Ability to understand Maps, images and & identify the geographic location.
· Process and analyze LiDAR point cloud data from aerial platforms (UAVs, drones, aircraft)
- Work with aerial imagery to generate orthomosaic, DSM/DTM, and 3D models
- Hands-on experience with Photogrammetary Softwares like Mic Mac, Pix 4D, Agisoft & Open drone maps
- Conduct georeferencing, coordinate system transformations, and accuracy validation
- Classify point clouds (ground, vegetation, buildings, etc.)
- Develop and optimize workflows for large-scale geospatial datasets
- Ensure data quality through QA/QC processes
- Collaborate with GIS, surveying, and drone operations teams
· Good communication skills-Verbal & Written
· Enthusiasm to learn, work & strengthen career in the field of GIS.
Software Application:
· Hands-on exposer of software - Arc GIS, QGIS, Google Map, Google Earth, Map Info, Global Mapper, CAD Map etc and Expertise with LiDAR & Photogrammetry software (Agisoft – minimum 2 – 3 years).
Qualification: M.Sc. (GIS & Remote Sensing) / or B.A (Geography / Geology) or Graduate (Any equivalent steam) with PG Diploma in GIS & Remote Sensing or training with Lidar data
Experience: 3 to 5 years
