Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to manage operations, maintenance, and service activities for STP, WTP, and ETP project sites. The candidate will be responsible for smooth plant operation, troubleshooting, client coordination, and managing site teams to ensure compliance with performance and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operation & maintenance (O&M) of STP, WTP, and ETP systems
- Manage daily site activities and ensure uninterrupted plant performance
- Supervise site engineers, operators, and technicians
- Conduct routine inspections, performance monitoring, and reporting
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues
- Ensure compliance with PCB norms, environmental regulations, and safety standards
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for service requirements
- Plan and execute preventive & breakdown maintenance
- Maintain service records, logs, chemical consumption, and operational data
- Support commissioning, trial runs, and handover of new projects when required
- Ensure proper inventory management of spares and chemicals
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in STP / WTP / ETP projects
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and equipment
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Ability to handle clients and resolve service-related issues
- Familiarity with PLC, pumps, blowers, dosing systems, and filtration units
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reporting)
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or municipal wastewater treatment plants
- Hands-on exposure to troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
