Opening & Daily Preparation
- Check availability of popular models, colours, variants, and accessories.
- Review pending customer enquiries, follow-ups, bookings, and deliveries.
- Attend the daily sales meeting and understand targets and offers.
2. Customer Handling
- Welcome every customer entering the showroom politely.
- Understand the customer's requirements, budget, preferred model, usage, and financing needs.
- Identify whether the customer is a first-time buyer, replacement buyer, or existing customer.
- Provide accurate information about TVS models, variants, features, mileage, performance, safety, maintenance, and warranty.
- Demonstrate the vehicle and explain its important features.
3. Product Presentation
- Explain differences between models and variants.
- Explain available colours and specifications.
- Compare suitable TVS models according to the customer's requirements.
- Explain current promotional offers, exchange benefits, and accessories.
- Avoid giving incorrect commitments regarding price, delivery, finance, or discounts.
4. Test Ride Management
- Offer a test ride when appropriate.
- Explain the basic controls and safety precautions before the test ride.
- Ensure required documentation and showroom procedures are followed.
- Take feedback after the test ride and understand the customer's purchase intention.
5. Sales & Target Achievement
- Work toward daily, monthly, and yearly sales targets.
- Convert showroom enquiries into bookings and sales.
- Generate new leads through referrals, existing customers, local contacts, and other approved showroom activities.
- Promote higher-value variants or suitable accessories when they genuinely meet customer needs.
- Maintain a healthy enquiry-to-booking and booking-to-delivery conversion rate.
6. Finance & Insurance Coordination
- Explain available two-wheeler finance options provided through authorised finance partners.
- Collect required documents from customers and coordinate with the finance team.
- Follow up on loan approval and documentation.
- Explain insurance options and coordinate with the relevant showroom/insurance team.
- Never make unauthorised promises about loan approval, interest rates, or insurance claims.
7. Exchange & Registration Coordination
- Explain the exchange process to customers interested in replacing their existing vehicle.
- Coordinate vehicle evaluation with the concerned team.
- Explain the estimated exchange value and applicable terms.
- Coordinate with the registration/RTO team for required documentation and registration formalities.
8. Booking & Order Processing
- Complete booking forms and required customer documentation accurately.
- Confirm model, variant, colour, price, accessories, finance, and expected delivery details.
- Update the CRM/dealer management system with customer and sales information.
- Follow up on pending documents and payments.
- Coordinate with the stock/logistics team regarding vehicle availability.
9. Customer Follow-up
A major part of the job is regular follow-up:
- Call new enquiries received during the day.
- Follow up with customers who visited the showroom but did not purchase.
- Contact customers after a test ride.
- Follow up on quotations.
- Follow up on finance approval.
- Follow up on bookings awaiting delivery.
- Contact customers whose expected purchase date is approaching.
- Maintain proper records of every follow-up and customer response.
10. Vehicle Delivery
- Coordinate with the delivery team before handing over the vehicle.
- Confirm that the correct model, variant, colour, and accessories are ready.
- Ensure the vehicle is properly cleaned and prepared.
- Explain basic vehicle operation, controls, maintenance schedule, warranty, and important documents to the customer.
- Give a professional delivery experience and thank the customer.
- Encourage the customer to contact the showroom for future service requirements.
11. After-Sales Customer Relationship
- Maintain contact with customers after delivery.
- Remind customers about scheduled service when applicable.
- Handle basic customer queries and direct technical/service complaints to the service department.
- Encourage referrals from satisfied customers.
- Maintain long-term relationships to generate repeat and referral sales.
End-of-Day Responsibilities
Before leaving the showroom, the Sales Executive normally needs to:
- Update all enquiries and customer interactions in the CRM/system.
- Record test rides conducted.
- Update bookings and pending deliveries.
- Complete follow-up calls/messages.
- Check finance and registration pending cases.
- Review daily sales and target achievement.
- Submit required daily sales/activity reports.
- Prepare the next day's follow-up list.
- Inform the Sales Manager about hot leads, expected bookings, cancellations, and customer issues.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
