Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior AS400 / IBM i Infrastructure & DR Failover Engineer with strong experience in Core Banking and BFSI environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, disaster recovery readiness, failover/failback automation, and infrastructure resilience for mission-critical AS400/IBM i systems. Mandatory experience in Synon is required.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support AS400 / IBM i infrastructure in production-critical environments.
- Design and implement failover/failback strategies and DR solutions.
- Conduct DR drills, validation exercises, and readiness assessments.
- Automate recovery processes to reduce downtime and manual effort.
- Monitor system performance, replication health, and availability.
- Maintain DR runbooks, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
- Support audits, regulatory requirements, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with banking application teams and participate in incident management.
Mandatory Experience
- 10+ years of AS400 / IBM i Infrastructure Administration
- 10+ years of Itera iCluster Replication
- 10+ years of Fiserv Signature 10.1 Core Banking
- 10+ years of AS400 DB2 & IFS Backup/Recovery
- 10+ years of Banking DR Failover Automation
- Strong expertise in DR, HA, Replication, and Business Continuity
Preferred
- Banking compliance and regulatory exposure
- DR orchestration/automation tools
- Experience in 24x7 production support environments
Soft Skills
- Strong ownership and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to perform under pressure during critical incidents
