Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal patients.
Assist obstetricians during normal and assisted deliveries.
Monitor maternal and fetal condition throughout labour.
Prepare and maintain labour room equipment, instruments, and emergency supplies.
Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
Maintain accurate nursing records and labour documentation.
Assist in neonatal resuscitation and immediate newborn care.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
Identify obstetric emergencies and respond promptly.
Educate and support mothers and their families before and after delivery.
Coordinate effectively with doctors and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the labour room at all times.
Qualification :
- 5–6 Years of experience in Labour Room
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM /ANM with valid nursing registration
