Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations and business development activities in the assigned territory for our furniture business. The candidate will be responsible for dealer/distributor management, institutional sales, market expansion, revenue growth, and achieving sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate should have experience in office furniture, chairs, modular furniture, seating systems, or related manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and expand dealer, distributor, and channel partner network.
- Identify new business opportunities in corporate, institutional, government, and retail sectors.
- Promote company products including office chairs, modular furniture, seating solutions, and related products.
- Conduct regular market visits to generate leads and increase market penetration.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and market share.
Channel & Dealer Management
- Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, interior designers, and corporate clients.
- Monitor dealer performance and ensure sales growth.
- Resolve dealer and customer concerns effectively.
- Support dealers with product training, promotional activities, and sales support.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain long-term relationships with key customers and institutional clients.
- Ensure timely response to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Coordinate with internal departments for smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Submit regular market feedback and sales reports to management.
- Identify customer preferences and suggest new product opportunities.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with sales executives and support staff in the assigned region.
- Guide and motivate the sales team to achieve business goals.
- Conduct sales meetings and review performance periodically.
