Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Associate to manage sales activities for the Health Department and Government Healthcare Sector. The candidate will be responsible for generating business opportunities, handling GeM and government tenders, preparing quotations, building strong relationships with healthcare institutions, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities from Government Health Departments, Hospitals, Medical Colleges, AIIMS, ESIC, CGHS, NHM, and other healthcare institutions.
- Manage end-to-end sales through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.
- Search, evaluate, and participate in government tenders related to IT Hardware, Software, Networking, and Office Automation products.
- Prepare quotations, technical specifications, commercial proposals, and tender documentation.
- Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams for pricing and product availability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials, procurement teams, and institutional clients.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and tender status to maximize conversion.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities in CRM or Excel.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming government procurement opportunities.
- Ensure timely submission of bids and compliance with tender requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of Government Procurement processes.
- Hands-on experience with the GeM Portal and e-tendering.
- Ability to prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
- Excellent follow-up and relationship management skills.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or any related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in Government Sales, Institutional Sales, Healthcare Sales, or B2B Sales.
- Experience in handling GeM, CPPP, e-Procurement portals, and government tenders will be preferred.
- Prior experience dealing with Government Healthcare Institutions is an added advantage.
Salary
₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience)
