Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage overall administration of diamond stock, bookkeeping, and issuance processes
- Bag and issue diamonds based on specifications mentioned in order forms and production requirements
- Verify and monitor the 4Cs — Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat — to ensure quality standards are met
- Coordinate with showroom and production teams regarding specification changes in diamond requirements
- Update records and system entries for changes in diamond size, quality, quantity, or specifications
- Maintain accurate stock records for diamonds across all sieve sizes and clarity categories
- Monitor and maintain broken diamond and diamond loss registers with proper documentation
- Coordinate with the Production Accountant for system entries related to contractor payments and stock adjustments
- Conduct daily reconciliation of diamond stock based on weight and quantity across all locations and departments
- Prepare daily and weekly stock and issuance reports for management review
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and audit readiness for all diamond movement activities
- Support inventory control, stock verification, and compliance with internal processes
- Coordinate closely with production, showroom, finance, and inventory teams to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure adherence to company policies, process standards, and stock handling procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Gemmology or Jewellery Design certification preferred
- 3–6 years of experience in diamond handling, production planning, jewellery inventory, or gold control functions
- Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing, stock maintenance, and diamond grading concepts
- Experience in jewellery industry operations and inventory coordination preferred
