Responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, and installation of fire protection and safety systems onboard vessels, offshore platforms, and marine facilities. The role ensures compliance with maritime safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect, test, and maintain fire detection and alarm systems.
* Service and recharge fire extinguishers and fixed firefighting systems.
* Inspect and maintain fire pumps, hydrants, hoses, nozzles, and emergency equipment.
* Conduct inspection and certification of life-saving appliances such as life jackets, lifebuoys, and liferafts.
* Troubleshoot and repair fire and gas detection systems.
* Perform hydrostatic testing of cylinders and firefighting equipment as required.
* Prepare service reports, inspection records, and certification documents.
* Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, Flag State, and Classification Society requirements.
* Participate in onboard safety drills and emergency response activities.
* Follow company HSE policies and safe work procedures.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
