Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Service Operations to lead and manage the overall service operations of an Ashok Leyland Authorized Service Centre. The candidate will be responsible for workshop profitability, customer satisfaction, manpower management, service quality, fleet customer management, and achievement of business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day workshop operations.
- Achieve monthly service, labor, and spare parts revenue targets.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and effective complaint resolution.
- Manage Service Managers, Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff.
- Develop fleet business and institutional customer relationships.
- Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, and turnaround time.
- Ensure compliance with Ashok Leyland standards, SOPs, and audits.
- Control operational costs and improve profitability.
- Review MIS reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure workshop safety, housekeeping, and statutory compliance.
Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
- MBA (Operations/Marketing) will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Commercial Vehicle Service Operations.
- Minimum 5 years in a managerial leadership role.
- Experience in Ashok Leyland - Commercial Vehicle dealerships preferred.
