Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst / Software Tester to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software. The ideal candidate will gather and document business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, create functional specifications, and perform comprehensive software testing to ensure products meet business and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and resolve queries.
- Support project planning, sprint planning, and backlog grooming activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Software Testing
- Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Validate bug fixes and conduct retesting.
- Work closely with developers to resolve defects.
- Ensure software quality before production deployment.
- Maintain testing documentation and test reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Business Analysis, Software Testing, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
