We are looking for an experienced Security Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions that support advanced security analytics, reporting, and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). The ideal candidate will have expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, cybersecurity data, and BI reporting to deliver actionable insights for Security Operations, Risk Management, and Compliance teams.
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines to ingest security data from multiple sources, including SIEM, EDR, cloud platforms, vulnerability management tools, GRC platforms, and APIs.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to transform, normalize, enrich, and validate security data.
- Develop structured datasets to support security analytics, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or similar BI tools for executive and operational reporting.
- Create automated reporting solutions for security posture, compliance, risk, and audit reporting.
- Integrate security data with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, CMDB, and cloud asset inventories.
- Support Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) initiatives by correlating security findings with business risk and asset criticality.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with SOC, Security Engineering, Threat Intelligence, GRC, and Infrastructure teams to deliver actionable security insights.
- Prepare technical documentation for data models, dashboards, reporting workflows, and automation processes.
- 6–10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Experience working with SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and GRC platforms.
- Experience with Tableau or similar business intelligence and visualization tools.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including Security Operations (SOC), threat detection, vulnerability management, and risk management.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, CMDB, and enterprise asset management platforms.
- Experience integrating threat intelligence and security analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or security certifications are an added advantage.
