About the Role
Zav Events is looking for a talented and creative Illustrator to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate has strong command over illustration tools, can grasp event briefs and creative direction quickly, and translate them into compelling visuals for our event management projects. Knowledge of AI tools for illustration is a big plus, as it helps speed up the creative process and explore ideas faster.
This role starts as part-time for the first 2 months, transitioning to full-time from the 3rd month based on performance and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original illustrations for events — including invitations, themes, decor concepts, social media creatives, and promotional material
- Understand event briefs and creative direction from the team, and translate them accurately into visual form
- Use illustration software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or similar) to produce high-quality artwork
- Leverage AI illustration tools to speed up concept development, drafts, and iterations
- Revise and refine illustrations based on feedback
- Maintain consistency in style and quality across different events and projects
- Manage time effectively to meet event deadlines
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating illustration skills and creativity
- Proficiency in illustration tools/software
- Working knowledge of AI tools for illustration (e.g., Midjourney, AI-assisted sketching/design tools, etc.)
- Good listening and interpretation skills — ability to convert ideas/communication into accurate drawings
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup
- Must be based in Kerala or Bangalore
