Role: Test Engineer
Experience: 1-5 Years ( salary as per norms )
Job description : Responsibilities include developing test plans and procedures, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues and improve product performance, speed, and safety. Key skills involve strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, communication, and knowledge of testing methodologies and tools for various product types, such as software, mechanical, or electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Design & Planning: Create and customize test procedures, parameters, and plans to evaluate a product's quality and performance.
- Test Execution: Implement manual and automated test cases across the product development lifecycle to identify defects and validate functionality.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, working with developers to resolve them.
- Reporting: Compile test results and defect reports, sharing them with development teams and stakeholders to inform product improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product designers, developers, and quality assurance staff to meet project goals and enhance product quality.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing approaches and quality assurance processes.
