Job Summary
MSI Communications is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and expand our sales operations within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing dealer and distributor networks, achieving monthly targets, and ensuring strong market presence for our brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and retail partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the dealer network.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Lead, guide, and support Sales Executives and Promoters to maximize performance.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability and visibility.
- Plan and execute promotional activities and sales campaigns.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy outstanding levels.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Purchase, Logistics, Marketing, and Accounts for smooth business operations.
- Resolve customer and dealer concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
- 3–6 years of experience in field sales, preferably in Consumer Electronics, Mobile Accessories, FMCG, or Retail.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Good knowledge of distributor and dealer management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license is preferred.
