Job Overview
Baseline is looking for a Senior Engineer – MEP (Projects) with experience in industrial and commercial projects. The role involves planning, execution, coordination, and monitoring of MEP works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Utility works at project sites.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate with design teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
- Track manpower, materials, and equipment requirements for project execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor installation activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Participate in project review meetings and coordinate corrective actions when required.
- Assist in billing verification, contractor coordination, and project documentation.
Qualification & Experience
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7–9 years of experience in MEP project execution and coordination.
- Experience in industrial and commercial projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and utility systems.
- Ability to review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- Working knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and MS Excel will be preferred.
- Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities effectively.
