We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer who can understand client requirements and convert them into practical, aesthetic, and functional interior designs. The candidate will be responsible for handling interior projects from concept development to execution and coordinating with clients, vendors, contractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and project scope.
- Develop interior concepts, layouts, mood boards, and design presentations.
- Prepare 2D layouts and 3D interior designs/renders.
- Design residential and commercial spaces including living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, offices, etc.
- Prepare furniture layouts, false ceiling plans, lighting layouts, and other interior drawings.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, colours, furniture, fixtures, and accessories.
- Prepare BOQ, material specifications, and basic cost estimates.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and site supervisors.
- Conduct site visits and ensure execution is as per approved design.
- Make necessary design modifications according to site conditions.
- Present designs to clients and incorporate reasonable feedback.
- Maintain project drawings, revisions, measurements, and design documentation.
- Monitor quality, finishing, and design details during execution.
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and space-planning solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles and space planning.
- Good understanding of materials, furniture, lighting, colours, and finishes.
- Knowledge of 3D design/rendering software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar tools.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and construction drawings.
- Good knowledge of measurements and basic estimation/BOQ.
- Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good coordination and client-handling skills.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in interior design and execution will be preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
