About the Role
Makers is looking for a Logistics Executive to manage day-to-day logistics, dispatches, transportation, inventory movement, warehouse coordination, and vendor management.
The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, good at follow-ups, and comfortable coordinating with transporters, courier partners, vendors, warehouse teams, and internal departments.
Candidates with prior experience handling logistics for Ayurvedic, herbal, FMCG, wellness, personal care, or consumer brands will be preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesShipment & Dispatch Management
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily shipments and dispatches.
- Coordinate with transporters, courier partners, freight companies, and vendors.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Follow up on delayed, pending, damaged, or incorrectly delivered shipments.
- Coordinate returns, replacements, and reverse logistics.
Warehouse & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for inward and outward movement of products.
- Monitor stock movement and ensure timely dispatches.
- Coordinate picking, packing, loading, and dispatch activities.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipment movement.
- Identify and resolve stock or dispatch discrepancies.
Documentation
- Prepare and maintain invoices, packing lists, delivery challans, shipping documents, and other logistics records.
- Maintain proper records of original logistics documents.
- Ensure accuracy of dispatch and delivery documentation.
- Maintain logistics-related data and records for reporting and audits.
Vendor & Transporter Management
- Coordinate with transporters, courier companies, suppliers, and other logistics vendors.
- Follow up on pickup and delivery schedules.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, and service quality.
- Support negotiations and help control transportation costs.
- Resolve operational issues with logistics partners.
Ayurvedic / FMCG Logistics – Preferred
Candidates with experience in an Ayurvedic, herbal, FMCG, wellness, personal care, or consumer products brand will have an advantage.
Knowledge of the following will be preferred:
- Batch-wise inventory management.
- FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Expiry-date tracking.
- Multiple SKU management.
- Product returns and replacements.
- Distributor and retailer dispatches.
- E-commerce and marketplace order logistics.
- Handling packaged Ayurvedic/herbal products.
Reporting & Optimization
- Track logistics costs and delivery performance.
- Maintain shipment and transportation MIS.
- Prepare regular logistics reports for management.
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs and improve delivery efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs such as delivery time, freight cost, pending shipments, and vendor performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or transportation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and vendors simultaneously.
Preferred Candidate
We would particularly prefer candidates who have worked with Ayurvedic, herbal, FMCG, wellness, personal care, or D2C brands and understand the practical challenges of managing product dispatches, inventory, warehouses, transporters, and returns.
Compensation & Location
Salary: ₹15,000–₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills
Location: Greater Noida, Golden I Mall.
