Key responsibilities
- Gather user requirements and conduct user research to understand user needs and pain points.
- Design user-friendly interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to visualize and test design solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define and implement design solutions.
- Ensure the final product is both visually appealing and easy to navigate.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends and technologies.
Required skills
- Technical skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is often required. Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Design skills: Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and user-centered design.
- UX skills: Knowledge of information architecture, user research methods, and interaction design.
- Software skills: Experience with design and prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
