Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Manager to capture and scale our market presence. Depending on your existing network, you will be responsible for driving growth in either the North India or South India territory. Based out of our Delhi office, you will focus on building institutional partnerships (schools and universities) for our UK Study Abroad programs and specialized Student Travel/MICE packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Zonal Expansion: Map and execute a targeted market-penetration plan to onboard partners across your assigned zone (North or South India).
- B2B Institutional Tie-ups: Pitch to and build lasting relationships with university directors, college deans, school principals, and coaching centers to establish Truvai as their exclusive international education and study-tour partner.
- Lead Acquisition & Seminars: Organize and lead seminars, career fairs, and info-sessions at institutional campuses to connect directly with students aspiring to study in the UK and Europe.
- Collaboration with Counselors: Work hand-in-hand with our internal telecalling and execution counseling teams based in Delhi to pass on hot institutional leads and ensure high conversion/visa success rates.
- Target Execution: Achieve monthly and quarterly student enrollment and group-travel revenue milestones.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in Sales, Institutional Alliances, or Business Development within Study Abroad Consultancies, Higher Ed, or EdTech.
- Regional Networks:
- North Zone: Strong, pre-existing connections with educational institutes across NCR, Punjab, Haryana, or Uttar Pradesh.
- South Zone: A solid network across major education hubs in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, or Andhra Pradesh.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid grasp of the overseas education pipeline (especially UK university systems, intake cycles, and entry requirements).
- Language Fluency: Top-tier English and Hindi communication. For the South region, proficiency in regional languages (like Telugu, Tamil, or Kannada) is an advantage.
- Travel Readiness: Ready to travel frequently (up to 40-50%) across the assigned zone for field development and institutional presentations.
