Job Description – Cashier (Luxury Fashion Retail)

Position Summary
Anamika Khanna is seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cashier to join its Luxury Fashion Retail team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customer billing, cash management, banking activities, Tally entries, and providing GST-related support to the Head Office. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and excellent organizational skills in a high-end fashion retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle customer billing through cash, card, UPI, and other digital payment methods.
* Maintain daily cash collections and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
* Prepare daily sales, cash, and collection reports.
* Generate invoices, receipts, and credit notes using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
* Manage cash deposits, withdrawals, cheque deposits, and other banking transactions through regular bank visits.
* Coordinate with the Accounts and Head Office (Kolkata) for daily financial reconciliation.
* Provide GST support to the Head Office, including billing, documentation, and tax-related processes for applicable GST slabs (10%–20%).
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documents.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
* Support store operations and inventory reconciliation as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related discipline is preferred.
* 2-3 years of experience as a Cashier in retail or a similar role.
* Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
* Basic understanding of GST, invoicing, and taxation.
* Working knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
* Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel for banking-related work as and when required.
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in Luxury Fashion, Premium Retail, Designer Apparel, will be an added advantage.
