Purchase Manager

'1. Quality Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and purchasing activities for materials, equipment, and services.
- Develop sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement
- Obtain quotations, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Issue and monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Finance, and Operations teams for procurement planning and execution.

- Arrange and coordinate vehicles, transport vendors, and logistics activities for material movement between suppliers, warehouse, production facility, and customer locations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Analyse market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and documentation.
- Support budgeting and procurement cost control initiatives.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address supply-related issues when required.
- Identify alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risks and improve procurement efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

3. Education & Other Requirements
1. Gender : Male/ Female
2. Age : 25 years and above
3. Qualification : Any Bachelor Degree from recognized university , Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines will be an added advantage.
Professional certifications in Procurement, Materials Management, or Supply Chain Management are preferred but not mandatory.
4. Work experience, skills, or abilities of the incumbent :
4.1. At least 4 to 6 years experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
4.2. Experience in supplier negotiations and procurement planning.
4.3.Exposure to vendor management and supplier coordination preferred.
4.4. Should have the good leadership skills and team management skills
4.5. Experienced problem solver.
4.6.Knowledge of quality systems and standards
4.7. Management capabilities, team skills and effective decision making.
4.8. Knowledge of process improvement techniques
