About us:
Luna is a health intelligence company helping high performing individuals be at peak state. At its core is LifeOS, Luna’s adaptive health operating system that interprets biometric data from its wearables and third party sources to plan the wearer's day around energy, recovery, and circadian rhythm.
About the role:
As a Project Leader at Luna, you will own end-to-end delivery of Luna’s wearable device program.
What you'll own:
● Own end-to-end delivery of the device program as the single point of accountability — from product definition through EVT/DVT/PVT to mass production, against committed scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
● Act as the primary interface between internal functions (hardware, firmware, mechanical, industrial design, supply chain, quality) and external stakeholders (partner teams, industrial-design, component vendors and manufacturing), keeping everyone aligned on priorities and decisions.
● Own the SDK integration workstream: coordinate embedded/firmware and app teams to integrate and validate the device SDK into the mobile application, managing interface specifications, test plans, and release sign-off.
● Build and maintain the master program plan and critical path; define and drive NPI gate reviews (EVT/DVT/PVT/MP) with clear entry and exit criteria and deliverables.
● Run a tight decision cadence across time zones, keep open items moving, hold a 24-hour-class turnaround on feedback, and prevent work from stalling.
● Manage cross-functional dependencies and long-lead items such as silicon and critical components; surface constraints early and align procurement and forecasting to the production schedule.
● Drive trade-off decisions with engineering, translate technical implications across dimensions, power, cost, and schedule into clear options and recommendations for leadership and partners.
● Own program risk and issue management: anticipate schedule, cost, and quality risks; prepare mitigation and contingency plans; and escalate early with clear options.
● Plan and manage prototype and sample builds across EVT, DVT, and PVT; deploy on-site presence for builds and bring-up where it compresses feedback loops.
● Own scope and change control across internal and external requirements; ensure commitments are documented, traceable, and reflected in the plan.
● Establish program governance and reporting, status, key metrics, and milestone updates for internal leadership and external partners, maintained in a single source of truth.
● Manage program tooling and the operating rhythm, including shared trackers and recurring reviews, and keep documentation and decisions current.
What we're looking for:
● Strong experience of 8+ years delivering consumer hardware or electronics programs end to end, with hands-on NPI ownership from EVT/DVT/PVT through to mass production. Wearables or connected devices will be a strong plus.
● Strong grasp of hardware, firmware, and app/SDK development; able to run trade-off discussions with engineering on implications vs. timelines, and to own an SDK integration into a partner or first-party mobile application.
● Excellent stakeholder management, comfortable as the single interface for senior internal leaders and external partners across geographies and time zones; a clear, concise, no-surprises communicator.
● Fluent in program tooling such as Asana, Jira, with strong discipline in planning, critical-path and dependency management, risk tracking, and supplier and forecast coordination.
● Self-motivated individual contributor who drives outcomes through influence and holds a program to aggressive deadlines. Based in Gurugram (Delhi NCR) or open to relocating.
