Senthil Public School, Salem is looking for a responsible and experienced Hostel Warden to oversee the day-to-day operations of the boys' hostel. The ideal candidate will ensure student safety, discipline, welfare, and the smooth functioning of hostel activities while creating a secure and supportive residential environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the boys' hostel.
- Ensure the safety, discipline, and well-being of all hostel students.
- Maintain hostel rules, schedules, and overall discipline.
- Monitor student attendance, study hours, meals, and recreational activities.
- Coordinate with school management, parents, and staff regarding student welfare.
- Handle emergencies and provide timely support to students.
- Maintain hostel records and ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of facilities.
- Work closely with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams.
- Be available to stay on campus and oversee hostel operations round the clock.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a residential school or hostel administration.
- Experience in managing student hostels is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle students with patience, responsibility, and professionalism.
- Must be willing to reside in the school hostel.
- Willing to work on weekends and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Prior experience in CBSE/Residential Schools will be an added advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records.
