About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and politically aware Cameraman (Videographer/Photographer) to document, capture, and visually narrate political campaigns, public engagements, ground activities, and leadership interactions. This role demands agility, storytelling sense, and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure campaign environments.
Key Responsibilities
Capture high-quality video and photographs during political campaigns, rallies, public meetings, interviews, and field activities.
Handle on-ground shooting for leaders, candidates, and campaign events across locations.
Understand campaign narratives and visually align content with political messaging.
Operate and maintain camera equipment, lenses, audio gear, and basic lighting.
Coordinate with editors, content teams, and campaign managers for shot requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of raw footage and photographs as per campaign timelines.
Be flexible to travel and work extended hours during peak campaign periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a videographer and/or photographer (political, media, or documentary experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of camera operations, framing, composition, and lighting.
Ability to capture spontaneous, real-time moments in dynamic environments.
Basic understanding of political campaigns, public communication, and ground movements.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and in crowded locations.
Freshers with strong interest in political media and visual storytelling are also welcome.
Preferred Tools
DSLR / Mirrorless cameras, handheld rigs, gimbals, basic audio equipment.
Working knowledge of basic video formats and photography workflows.
