Job Title: Senior Network Security Engineer – FortiGate Firewall

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Network Security Engineer with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise network security environments, particularly FortiGate Firewalls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, performance, and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate Firewalls across multiple locations.
- Design and implement firewall policies, NAT rules, security profiles, and access control mechanisms.
- Configure and manage Site-to-Site VPNs, Remote Access VPNs (SSL/IPSec), and SD-WAN solutions.
- Monitor network traffic, security events, and firewall logs to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Implement and maintain security services such as IPS, Antivirus, Web Filtering, Application Control, DNS Filtering, and Anti-Bot protection.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, configuration backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Analyze network performance and recommend improvements for security and availability.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents involving routing, switching, firewall, and VPN connectivity.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and clients for project implementation and support.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.
- Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and incident reports.
- Provide L2/L3 support and mentor junior network engineers when required.
Required Technical Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in Network Security and Firewall Administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet products, especially FortiGate Firewalls.
- Expertise in Firewall Policy Management, NAT, Security Profiles, VPNs, and Threat Prevention.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP), Switching, DNS, DHCP, and Network Troubleshooting.
- Experience with SD-WAN deployment and management.
- Hands-on experience with FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager is preferred.
- Good understanding of Network Security concepts, Threat Detection, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response.
- Experience in log monitoring, packet analysis, and troubleshooting using network diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Firewall Clustering.
- Familiarity with enterprise security standards and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Certifications
- Fortinet NSE 4 / NSE 5 / NSE 7 (or equivalent Fortinet certifications)
- CCNA / CCNP (Preferred)
- Relevant Network Security Certifications will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
