The Community Kitchen Cook is responsible for preparing nutritious, hygienic, and high-quality meals for beneficiaries, ensuring food safety standards, and managing large-scale meal production. The candidate must have experience in preparing and serving meals for a minimum of 2,000 beneficiaries at a time in a community kitchen, institutional kitchen, catering unit, or large-scale food service operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus, recipes, and nutritional guidelines.
- Ensure timely preparation and distribution of meals to beneficiaries.
- Manage large-scale cooking operations and ensure the capacity to prepare meals for at least 2,000 people in a single serving cycle.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, hygiene, and presentation.
- Supervise Kitchen Helpers and assign daily kitchen tasks.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Monitor food stock, ingredients, and kitchen supplies and report replenishment needs.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked food as per food safety standards.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain efficient use of resources.
- Follow all health, safety, food hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain daily records of meals prepared, ingredients consumed, and beneficiaries served.
- Assist in menu planning and suggest improvements for nutrition and cost efficiency.
- Support special events, community feeding programs, disaster relief activities, and emergency food distribution operations as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10th Pass.
- Certificate/Diploma in Food Production, Cookery, Hospitality, or Catering Management preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in community kitchens, institutional kitchens, large-scale catering services, NGOs, schools, hostels, hospitals, or industrial canteens.
- Proven experience in preparing meals for 2,000 or more beneficiaries at a single time.

Pay: ₹8,342.42 - ₹30,493.67 per month
